Great pack 5 out of 5 stars

Review by: knieveltech, 2007-05-31

Before I picked this pack up I had been using a day pack to haul stuff to the crag and for day hiking and camping. After getting this pack I use it for everything. Hauling gear to the crag? No problem. There's room for a rope, rack, and anything else you can think to stuff in it. Backpacking? Covered. Plenty of space to cram in everything you'd need for multi-day backpacking, and it does a great job of distributing the load. Day hiking? No problem. Just load up the top section of the pack with water/snacks/rain gear, then detach it and roll out. Also the price is crazy cheap for what you get. I definitely recommend this pack to anyone on the market.

excellent pack for intermediate to long back packing trips - top loading with many pockets around the outside for quick access - good strapping setup to put the load where you want them to be - big pack but the top bit detaches and belt strap to turn it into a waist pack

summary: comfortable, well designed and well priced compared to other packs in this category (gregorys etc.) would definietly recommend
