I agree about this has become my go-to pack for most situations. I climbed Rainier with this pack and have logged countless alpine ascents with it. I have never questioned it's durability and it hasn't shown any signs of wear. The rope system is great in my opinion and I LOVE the storage for ice axes. One of the simplest I've used. If only there was an easier way to put a shovel on there...oh well it's worth every penny twice over.

I have the 45L and its a great pack. I've found it to have plenty of space and I think the external rope system is simple. I've had no problems getting my rope on or off my pack. Perfect pack.

own the 45L and its a durable pack. the external rope system is a pain and i wish the top pocket was a little larger, but it serves its purpose.

I bought this pack as an "in-between" pack between my 1000 cubic inch day pack and my 5000 cubic inch backpacking pack. This is a great pack, very durable, tons of space, solid gear loops to clip gear, waterproof and a great price.
