Climbing is my first climbing mag, and while I've enjoyed looking at other ones, this one always sucks me in. The pictures and articles are great, the advice is helpful, the gear reivews have helped me a lot, and I'm always looking forward to the next issue!

this mag is one of the best climbing mags i have read. i like most of the stories. and the rewiews are good because they tell you what works and what doesn't, unlike when mags only give good grades even to horrible gear. this magazine also gives health and safety tips for climbing. a bad things is the language.

I have to give climbing a just OK. It seems a little white washed and generic. It strikes me as the Ladies Home Journal of climbing magazines. Very safe and lots of fancy ads. Don't misunderstand and think I am against advertising. I just think the writing and articles sometimes seem thrown together to get the thing out. I still read itl, but look forward to Gripped and Alpinist.

Of all the limited amount of climbing magazines, I think this is the best. The pictures are all really good, the stories are fun to read, and they can answer a lot of your questions. I personally think it's way better than Rock and Ice. I don't really like how Rock and Ice is set up, and how they censor a lot of their writings. I think that's just how climbing is and how some people are, whether we hear it or read it.
