Worth it for the Derek Hersey piece. Awe inspiring, sad, unreal. The rest of it was mostly ego fueled filler.

Though most find the Derek Hersey part long I found it very poignant. An incredible look into the mind of a climber! Timmy O'neil is crazy funny and some wicked trad climbing and trad falls! Well worth the money

This was an alright movie. I disliked some of the segments (did we really need 3 segments of the wasp?), the short segment "view from across the pond" wasn't funny or entertaining. Maybe I just didn't get it. I did like the basejumping sequence, wasn't expecting to see that in the video. Also like the urban ape part the first few times I watched the vid but the novelty has worn off and I just skip past it now. The Derek Hersey piece was far too long. We went from multiple 5-10 minute clips to a 30 minute windbagger. All in all not bad, it has a little bit of everything but doesn't do a spectacular job on any of them. The production is a bit amateurish. Looks like something put together with a Hi8 cam and Adobe Premiere. Seriously amateur titles and fades. Loved the music, but the actual audio and voice dub need work. Masters of stone 5 is much move entertaining and has a much more polished feel to it.
