fits my foot

La sportiva is to narrow for my foot. I was able to demo this through the EMS climbing school. Once I realized how well they fit I new they were the boots for ice and alpine adventure. I recommend breaking them in on some short approaches and ice climbing before taking them out for alpine summits. Have fun.

I bought these boots 2 years ago and never looked back. At first they were stiff to hike in and I even had to hike in to some roadside stuff with aproach shoes on because of that. Eventually, they felt like a pair of slippers (warm, comfy, well fitted) They have a type of foam that molds to your feet and secures well around the ankle. No vibration while kicking (with M-10) and very easy on the calves also. One problem with them is the price....but I got a very good deal on them that I couldn't refuse.
I use to own plastics and leathers to cover what these boots can do now. I live in the Canadian Rockies and have been WI5 / M 6-8 and even alpine rock 5.7/5.8 with long descents and approches (scree)!!! Just spare yourself the pain and break them in on some easy stuff and approaches before going all out....you'll love em'
