Anasazi Slipper

i wear street 13 and generally unlined leather 12s due to a low volume flat foot with weird toes. bought these in 13, and they have not stretched after perhaps 10-12 hours of bouldering. reasonably sticky, but like the other reviews explain, not the best choice for extreme heel hooking. ive found them helpful on steep sport routes and bouldering.

I got these shoes after climbing in 5.10 moccasyms, then velcros, as a cheaper replacement to my previous shoe. I think it can be summed up in the adage, "you get what you pay for". Although the fit is pretty good on these shoes, your feet tend to sweat in them, causing your heel to fall out on even the easiest of heel hooks. Also, the stealth c4 rubber doesn't seem to be that sticky in the toe, and i find myself slipping off jibs and other small holds whereas I never did in my velcros.

bottom line: if you can find these cheap, they'd make a good warm-up shoe or casual shoe, but don't use them for hard climbing at your peak.

These were my first pay of shoes... they were great... their heel hooking is not as good... but otherwise.. most aspects of it are good... i would recommend it to beginners and for longer climbs... bouldering with these shoes are not too bad.. if the routes are not very agressive..

I love these shoes. I didn't see any problems with my heel hooking as other people say. these shoes fit my foot perfectly and they were soooo comfortable.

Great gym shoe. I've been using these in the gym for about a month and they've worked excellent. I think if i could pick one shoe to climb exclusively with i would still go with my Anasazi Velcros. Good choice if you want a little bit cheaper shoe to get torn up in the gym.
