Scott Miller on Snowfield
August 10, 2005. Scott Miller on summit push on 2nd day of the 2-day trip. This was our crossing of the first snowfield, just above the Queest-Alb Glacier. It was fairly steep, but the quantity of climbers created a sort of a shelf one could walk across. Beautiful weather above the clouds...it's amazing how remote and alpine the Cascades can feel above 6000 feet. Photo by Craig Miller.
