Mono Co., CA
This picture has a great story behind it. I had been driving up to bishop hoping to get some decent shots of the sunset behind Mono lake tufa, but wasn't able to make it on time. I was watching the sunset while driving and it only got better and better, so I decided I had to stop to take some photos with these pretty mountains just happening to be behind it. So I pulled off at the next turn planning to drive around a hill obstructing the direct view to get a better shot. As I drove, I came upon a shanty-town which I decided not to avoid for my own safety. So I pulled off and decided to use this old broken down corral as foreground interest. Needless to say I heard people from the shanty-town on radios talking about me being there making me quite worrysome, I did my best to shoot and run the hell outta there!
