Here is something only the very few that climb will be able to see firsthand. At a spot only a minute fraction of the population will ever step foot, this is what you are treated to.

I took this picture of the Mace and surrounding rock at my friends' wedding in September. They didn't climb in Sedona but instead had a honeymoon at Joshua Tree.

This is a rock canyon over an almost dry river, the roofs of rock are spectacular, it seems to be that they are going to smash you when you’re waking under them. Photo: R. Pizarro.

Off the top of Buzzard Rocks, KY. It was terrible climbing, but a great place to relax. Don't know anything about routes, or how to get there even, but it was worth the trip.

Taken in August, 2002 from the top of Mt. Katahdin. This is part of the knife edge, the trail that traverses the ridge on top of Mt. Katahdin.

Taken in August, 2002 near Mt. Katahdin in Maine (none of the mountains in the picture are Mt. Katahdin though). I got up around 5 that morning and carried my sleeping bag out to the rocks on the side of the lake to take that picture....it was very peaceful.

I took this picture on a road trip in August, 2002, during a pretty sweet 13 mile hike across the park. I can't remember which cliffs those are on the right, unfortunately i never got a chance to climb on them. If anyone recognizes them, please let me know.

Leaving a good day of bouldering at Jenny Lake driving back towards the Climber's Ranch I was struck by the sky just igniting and took a few shots, this one is one of my favorites because the colors seem almost surreal but that is exactly what I saw through my lens that day.

This was the view that I had driving into Grand Teton NP on my first trip west and it was amazing. Right away I knew I wanted to climb it and tried a few days later. It was my first real sight of a mountain and I think that everyone should go to this park and experience its majesty at least once in their lives and probably more than that.
