The view from the Toboggan Ledge is truly spectacular. Sitting upon my boulder, I couldn't help but take a picture to capture the sight before us, on such a gorgeous day.

While climbing on the Kaymore Wall at the New River Gorge, West Virginia, a little copperhead snake decided our rope would be a good place to relax. Maybe he saw some resemblence.

The route goes up the left skyline, and in front of the shiprock and through the second notch to the crux. The crux consists of 150 feet scrambling up good sized sandy ledges over ~1200' of exposure. Even a few steps off route will have you making 5th class moves, and the crumbly rock probably won't hold a fall. Look carefully for the cairns, many are in unexpected places.

Ed cranking it out on a 11c that was pointed out to us as a 9...Fuzzy Dice...Ed was swearing black and blue that it was harder, and got nothin but "look for the bomber holds its only a 5.9!!!" in reply

Evidently there is some sort of a time warp happening, because clearly and unequivocally, Hard Man has been modelled after our very own rrrMadame!

This rock formation really caught my eye, I said to my self I will go to any lenghts to climb that some day! A little side note: WAH! is the korean way for saying Wow!

This is a natural feature in a scoop on a boulder somewhere behind Goat Rock. Sorry, no good boulder problems here.

Not much to say here, other than a pretty photo. Alpenglow on some representative Courtright domes. I believe the two in front are Penstemon Dome and Punk Rock, while the big one in the back is Dusy Dome. Photo was taken from our campsite (free and awesome) just off the Maxson Road.

Here's the view from this killer area just outside Capitol Reef--find it on the map, you'll be glad you did. The slabby wall at the top of the talus has 4 or 5 nice moderate crack climbs with anchors on top. My friends and I put up these routes in 1996.

This pic is of the 3 sisters in the blue mtns. You used to be able to climb them, but they banned it because it is a sacred Aboriginal site.

Took this one while bushwalking in the blue Mountains. The walk was graded hard so there wasnt many tourists on it which was nice.

The veiw is spectacular as you look down several hundred feet to the Delaware river.The highways on either side were a noise issue though.
