McConnels Mill is known for its Mill, the Rocks, and an old covered bridge.
Unfortunately, a couple large trees fell from the harsh winter and took out the far end.

A chair hanging an a rock?
Think im crazy? maybe youre right, but this action brought me some good marks, since i hauled my chair up my favorite rock for an arts projekt in school. And since nobody believed me that i would do THAT, the results where quite good. Hope you like it too.

Dave M. and myself airband an impromtu concert one sunny day for a group of girls from Truckee and other climbers peering from behind boulders, complete with antics. We got some claps. This pic is actually on a underground CD we made of our high school rock band from 1985-1988 called The Brik Shiite Shak. We called the CD 'Finally....Live in California.'
You can take a climbing break and log onto our website which has the address in my personal profile page.Be afraid!
We then continued to boulder at this amazing place!

This place is more than just a climbing crag-this mountain is a focl point of NE Wyoming, it has, as can be seen in the photo consumed the livlihoods of the locals. A motel nearby shows off the artwork of a great landmark.

Taken 3/20/2004 from the top of Lost Horse Wall in Joshua Tree National Park looking to the Southeast. My girlfriend and I topped out just as the sun was setting so I snapped off a sequence. It gives you a really good idea on just how lucky we are to be climbing out here! Just to give you a reference (to name a few points), The Wonderand of Rocks is in the distance on the left, Hidden Valley Campground is just right of the center, in the center way off in the distance at the base of the moutain is Sheep Pass Group Camp, and on the left in the medium distance in the shade is Real Hidden Valley.

The Hand is the obvious stand alone spire on the left. Yes, it leans a bit, but not quite as much as in this photo.
