We left before finishing; had to hike out before dark! Next time we camp there.

We walked into Monument Basin opposite Standing Rock. As we looked for a recommended way in, we found a walk in and out in the direction they were looking.

I've been climbing this area all summer long and these buggers showed up in the last 3 weeks or so. I don't miss a thing when I walk and spotted four of these on the approach. At the base of the cliff I bet there were 30 or 40 of these all along. Very cool. Their coloring was so perfect for their environment. Hard to spot for sure.
