Descending Mt.Andomeda

This was an amazing day out on the Columbia Icefields in late April 2005. We skiied up the Athabasca Glacier and then went for the Col between the 11 319 foot Mt. Andromeda and Un-named Peak which is almost and 11 000 footer. We left our skis at the Col and booted up the Southwest Ridge of Andromeda. This place is amazing in good weather, but frustrating in bad weather- lots of thick white-outs.
