Rock Climbing Photos : Misc : Jason-Startin'

Another great boulder located at Grandmother's outside of Boone, NC. This boulder, I can never recall the name, is on the way to the Mighty Mouse Boulder and 8Ball. It's a great boulder to warm up on b/c it has a great gaping lip that runs the length--and it's probably 20 yards+--of the boulder. It's a great traverse to loosen up. Anyways, on the far side of the boulder, Jason saw this sequence of slopers among the numerous holds and chalk marks there. He worked out this really fun problem which he tried continually to video tape. It went from a micro crimp layback to another very thin, slopey like crimp and then out to a knob on the far left before reaching to the right for the last sloper. It was an awesome little problem. Probably around V5. This is the starting sequence here. It goes right, left, then right again. Check it out. Bob
