Slackline tightening system

This is a setup that is very similar to 3 biner self locking setup but incorporates a fourth biner so that the clove hitch can be easily taken out. It adds more mechanical advantage as well. Using the alpine butterfly setup on the anchor, take the webbing and walk to the second anchor. Estimate how much space you will need to tighten and tie a clove hitch in that spot with 2 carabiners through it. From there, run the webbing through biner 1, then through 2, 3, and 4. Once through biner 4 run it back through biner 3 so that the previous loop is running over the newer one. you should now have a 5:1 pulley. The advantages of this setup are that the only permanent knot to get out will be the alpine butterfly on the non pulley side anchor. To get the clove hitch out, simply pull the two biners apart and the knot instantly loosens. This setup allows quick setup, takedown, and the line is always flat.
