Me about halfway down from Pike's. Next time...snowshoes. Coldest night I ever spent in the Rockies...about 8 degrees. I had to boulder a bit to get up top of the rock so my partner could take the picture...that counts right? I love the barely visible moon lingering above the summit. Photo by jackscoldsweat.

Here is a shot of Hunter (Lil-Cwboy) showing off his new baby sister for the first time. This was the first time Hunter got to see his little sis, still in the hospital.

This is what you'll see when you come into the gap and look towards Mt Tamany from the south. It's a pretty extensive cliff as can be seen from the photo.

"Vinny the Pug" has a favorite rock on which he exercises. Everday since he started climbing eighteen months ago, Vinny spends at least two to three minutes on this rock. In doing so his sense of balance and leg muscles have been honed to a fine point. More photos have been taken of him on this particular rock than any other. Perhaps because it is so close to Vinny's apartment. This rock can be found on the corner of Osborn Road and 12th Streets in downtown Phoenix. Just behind it is the Heritage Apartment complex. Much of Vinny's earily training was down on Osborn Road just the other side of the fence of the "Crystal Tower" condo building. There you'll find an array of boulders that have been layed out in a pattern that made Vinny's training very easy. Per chance you drive down Osborn Road between 12th Street and the "Crystal Tower" and see Vinny, please honk your horn.

Here we find "Vinny the Pug" minutes after having finally reached the top of the world famous Mt. Camelback in Phoenix. As Vinny's Trainer, Photographer, Publicist and Biographer (you guessed it, I work for him), I know him better than anyone. I've spent hours pondering the meaning behind the look in his eyes on this photo and think I've come up with an answer.
Vinny's joy of reaching his lofty destination was quickly over taken by the thought of "how the heck he'd get back down". I'm not sure but I think I can see a "rare" but slight glimmer of worry in his eyes. Happy to report, Vinny's return trip was as successful as his climb up.

You might be tempted to believe this is not an actual photo of a real live rock climber. Rest assured that "Vinny the Pug" is in fact very real living and climbing in Phoenix. Vinny has a heart for climbing that will challenge most people involved in this wonderful sport. When getting ready for a climb, I will open up his harness and he literally puts his head and legs into their proper places. During one of his growth spurts, Vinny's harness had begun to get a little tight. I went out and bought a new one thinking he'd like it. Vinny would not wear it. Consequently,I had to splice two strips into his original gear to enable it to fit his muscular body. We hope you will visit Vinny's album often as we'll continually share images of the adventures of "Vinny the Pug" in his search for the perfect climb. Please enjoy. Allen Kimble

This is a shot from the top of "the sound of one shoe tapping" 5.8 taken in the early morning. At the top, we could only hear coyotes, because everyone else in the park was still sleeping. What a magical place. This photo is for my profile.

This beautiful line climbed blue and white streaked tuffas. Awesome, fun, overhanging jugs at the bottom to a thin technical crux at the top.
