At Cedar Bluff, in southern Illinois, Dizzy 5.8. Easy, but fun, with a great view from the top, it's typically a last climb for my partners and me when we climb at Cedar Bluff. It also involves a free-hanging rap back to the ground.

This is my Profile pick yada yada yada. it was taken on the 23rd floor of the Renaissance center in down town Detroit. The only route you need to know about there are the ones out of the city. 75N, 94E&W, the lodge, and 96 West. Oh but we do have some of the best gym climbing in the country. And if you like hicking, fishing, hunting, baoting, or any other out door activity ...except climbing. Then michigan ROCKS!!!

This is a lame 5.7 slab that looks much steeper in the picture (Thanks Beth!). It was a good first lead, though at Rumney, NH.

Ran into Lynn Hill at the Monastery back in 2001. It was a great experience and as you can tell from the photo, I was as excited as a little kid to meet one of my all time favorite climbing heros. She was down to earth, nice and climbed pretty well too. In fact she cruised on of my recent projects in smooth style.

Another gym pick (Coyote Rock Gym), but I like this area for a good arm workout. I am now able to get across the whole ceiling (about 20 feet).

Me in "the cave" at Coyote Rock Gym. I like this area because it is a good arm workout with muli-layer roofs. The holds are big, but here I'm using an open hand and a two-figure ceiling grip.

This was taken when we were fooling around TRing at Snake Den in RI - we had no idea what anything was, but we had the place to ourselves :) The white is actually not chalk (bird crap? I don't want to think about it....) I was going for the hold someone was nice enough to mark blue, but at the time didn't have the technique to make up for the lack of height.....I think I could nail that move no problem now but it is further than it looks here.... ;) That's my story anyway, and I'm sticking to it!

I absolutely love Florida! The picture was taken on the 22nd of October, and we still had 90 degrees there!

My profile pic is the summit shot on Mt. Chester in Kananaskis Country, Alberta Canada. It was an awesome scramble with as much easy climbing as you wanted or a scree slog up. Needless to say we climbed.
