My german friend Gunther is belayed by Andrea in one of the easiest routes of this big cave. I took the picture as I couldn't climb such routes at that time (may 1999). I don't know how difficult it was, probably over 7a, which means I could hardly climb it by now! I don't even remember the name of this route. Photo by Thomas Ribière.

What you see when you're belaying. Think bouldering will get you in shape for this? You best think again..

Climbers visible at the base just right of center, there are 25 or so routes on this sector, all brilliant, and the crag itself is 3 miles long

The mother of all tufa routes, Lourdes is much longer than what you can see in this picture, over 100 feet and gets steeper and steeper the higher you go. 30+ foot fall at the crux

Lew's next challenge for us all was to traverse under the dock. There are other pics coming, but for now, juliana's dismount was by far the most colorful....

hers a pic of me on Manic Depresive (25). The climb is a classic, sinker pockets all the way up and three star climbing. The crux is the first move of the deck, it requires some sort of kneebar... If anyone knows how to do it, id like to know...

The contrast of this photo makes the features on the face literally seem to leap out of the rock. I had to compress it a bit to fit it in the guidelines, but it still is quite a startling picture. The lines of white quartz stand out sharply against the granite.
This is Elisha Davis (bellealimento) on route 3 at Lower Garden of the Gods, Fair Angel Creek, Alaska. Ben Bates is belaying, and this is an excellent shot of my (ColdClimb's) unique and untamable hair. Photo by Tom Borland.

Here is Russman starting off on Throbbing Gristle (5.9). Leejams had a hard time keepign up with me (so he claims) as he said I flew up this pitch. It is about a 20 Meter climb or so and Lee said I set a speed record on it:) Nice Belay Lee
In the foreground, you can see Mark roping up for the MuMu climb and jsut behind me you can see Kelly's red helmet as Jared is climbing the crack just tbehind me.

Here is Coyote_climber (soon to be a member here) on Hakuna Mata.
He was attempting to rescue all of the gear from Rollingstone and Leejams attempt of Chips and Dip, jsut beside him. Unfortunatly, El Coyote had to also have one of his draws rescued by another climber as he could not figure out the crux.

Both were fun climbs and we worked about 9 climbers thru them both in a short period of time. BTW...that is my head in the blue stocking hat watchign Corey work his way thru the problem

Jared, (only the but view)with our first climb of the AM from the Sunday Central WA GIG. This was a long pumpy 5.9. 13 bolts to the top and man is it a ways up there. What a fun little climb.
Kmunderground is belaying Jared while Coreyr is getting some more gear from Rocks4Jules before he gets to the start of his first lead of the day.

Right of Lourdes are some good 11's and 12's, allowing both a warm up for harder routes and a cool down from the 1 hour hike (not as bad as Ceuse) through train tunnels and bridges and up a steep hill.
