JTree BLM Lakebed Camping

Morning view of campsites scattered about the BLM lakebed, the whitecaps of Big Bear to the west. Free camping just north of the park. Few bushes to hide behind though if you need to go after sun's up

Directions: Heading east on 29 Palms from JTree West Entrance toward Indian Cove Entrance, go past White Feather intersection, turn left on Sunfair heading north (there's no right onto Sunfair). Continue past one plane airport on LHS, past 3rd, 2nd, and 1st Street, past white picket fence on RHS, past Animal Shelter sign on RHS, turn right onto dirt road with "Road Not Maintained" sign. Follow to end of dirt road where lies the wide expanse of the dry lakebed
