This is that big slab in the back of the canyon as seen from Palm Springs. Jim Bridwell put up some routes there. It goes in the shade like at 2pm since it is so close to the big mountain. The granite is a bit greasy (not from climbers) but the routes on this slab are good. There are also some steep slick hard routes along the right wall. Not much is known about this place, but hopefully this will help.

First ascended in 1999 by Christopher Dagel and Adam Gurtler. We used an almost all passive rack (3 cams only), many hexes and lots of nuts. This route was the culmination of a year of training and work and was climbed bottom up. Our first attempt failed when we ran out of daylight, while our second attempt saw us through to the crux, a heinous and dirty offwidth, which required aiding in slings above marginal pro and up an expanding flake (read:spooky).

This picture shows The large dome of Batman Rock and the small (circled) Batman Pinnacle. The area is Lumpy Ridge in Estes Park, Colorado. I took this photo the day after my friend Dan Milroy and I climbed Batman and Robin to the top of the pinnacle. The climb was easy and has beautiful views of Estes Park and Longs Peak.

The obvious tower in the center is Lighthouse Tower, Dolomite Tower is the skinny one to the left of it, and Big Bend Butte is the landform on the far left.

Just an overview shot I took from the rock above the road. You can not see too many routes from this shot, but it sure sports the beauty of Mt Diablo!

There are 2 routes on this 1000' volcanic rock. The regular/mountaineer route goes up the huge gully/shadow L of center; The Groover is on the L end.

Picasso Wall as seen from the last turn off before the parking area (or drop off point). This is all I have right now, I will try to update this as soon as possible. I have one other but it's really blurry.

This is the New Century Walls Complex, the trail up there is unmarked and lies in an ORV area, finding the right one without me would be very problematic, I hope to finish marking it one day.

This is a 45 degree burner. Profile shot. Would make a great silhouette picture from above. Part of Comic Gallery as you head up and around to the cave.
