Here is the first thing you will see as you pull yoru car into thte parking lot to get yoru day pass. You will see the top of The Picnic Lunch Wall. Over 700' tall. Very intimidating when standing at the bottom.

Dirt steps made the approach to this crag much easier. It's still a grunt to get to though.

This is 500 Pound Flakeout. A very fun easy climb. A very popular route at The Verticals. Great for begginers with positive holds the entire route.

This is a photo of the right hand side of the wall, taken from the "tounge" (a small flat area) at the base of the watercourse. My brother and I had an epic day slogging up here in the snow!

Here's the topo for the Open Book Route. It is pretty good. I got it from someone else, but it seemed pretty accurate. Just remember if you don't take two ropes, you'll have to do three rappels and not just two!

This is an edited picture of the Key Hole route at Whipps Ledges in Hinckley, OH. I could not take the whole route in one shot, so I took two then combinded them as you can tell.
This is one of the easier climbs at Hinckley.

Rocket man is located around the corner from the mass of rocks where many people sit when not climbing at the ledges, just before the largest roof section of grand ledge. There is a lot of discrepancy on Rocket Man's rating. The old guide book calls it a (10-) others say 11+ (pretty big difference) I'd say 10d/11a is close. A bouldery start leads to a big reach to the crux, a ledge that looks more positive than it is. Move into the open book for quick rest, then finish on the right side of the open book with some crimpy slabs. One of the most consitent routes at the Ledges.

This is the imposing and huge north face of the Kingfisher. A couple of sick routes ascend the middle and right side of the face, and the upper part of Colorado NE ridge climbs the left skyline.

This is Putterman's Pile in the Fisher Towers. It is one of the many minor small towers lurking among the huge monsters in th area.

This tower is the site of a nasty Walt Shipley 5.11 offwidth route. Putterman's Pile is the small tower on the right below GGM and is easiest to spot by looking for its shadow.

This is Dock Rock, probably the easiest 5th class summit to reach in the Fisher Towers. Its about 100 feet high.
I onsight free-soloed Impish, an old Layton Kor 5.5 on the right skyline.
