Racing the long shadows of afternoon
Located at the base of Mont Blanc and above the village of Chamonix in the French Alps, this route involved pure rock climbing at altitude. Our campsite for the majority of our 2 month stay was located in the talus field just out of view in this picture.
The route name comes from the telepherique ticket "Le Ticket" needed to access the climb, which gets stamped with a square, a circle, and a moon shaped punch, "Le Carre, Le Rond, et La Lune."
