Sam belays pitch 1, Layback Crack

Here is my buddy Sam belaying me up the first pitch of Layback Crack. This was our first climbing trip together and we couldn't have picked a better route to warm up on. The simple protection and easy climbing allowed us to get to know each others style and gear. We hit City of Rocks, ID a few days later.
