This is one of the famous peaks in Central Alborz mountains, north to Tehran. With 4375 meters it is the second highest peak in the central part of Alborz after Damavand.
It can be up to very difficult to climb, especially in the winter time, but many people climb it every year. Spring, summer and autumn are the appropriate time; June and July being the best months. If you have the right equipment, winter is also beautiful but challenging; it's not recommended for less expirence climbers to climb it in winter.
Suitable cloths, tent and sleeping bag are necessary every time, crampones and technical instruments are required for winter, danger of avalanches exist.
