About Wago River Gorge:

This is a totally pristine area and should be treated with care. Lots of potential for all sorts of climbs, but you'll probobly need a couple of brushes. So far, there are only a few cleaned faces, but stay tuned for future reports on bolting and routing.
Nearest town or city: Anan-Cho
Directions: From Iida, follow route 151 through Anan-Cho, and another 10km. For the Sub-Dam area, turn left turn just after the dam, park at the large turn just after the new bridge, find the trail. Camping, though irrelevant because there just aren't enough rocks to spend that much time here, is a half km down the right turn just after the dam, which, incidentally, is the way to the Supra-Dam area. It's about five kilometers after the camping area on the left side of the road. Keep your eyes peeled for majorly large rocks in the river. Park at your discretion.
