Small but relaxed basement bouldering gym. There are a lot of routes from the difficult to the incredible difficult and frustrating, rated on the Bouldering V scale. Nice floor padding for those route end jump-offs. There is a moderately priced entrance fee, but you have to become a member after the first 2 visits, requiring an additional membership fee; this is not too pricey and the daily fee for member's is slightly cheaper. Hire gear is available and there is a small shop. The manager speaks good English so there shouldn't be a problem, and he is a great source of local climbing info as well as Japan generally. Good place to just hang out after you're pumped. Main website is cool with some nice photos but, even in Japanese, contains virtually no useful information: use the page listed below instead (Japanese). The small shop has a huge amount of gear and books, including local guidebooks, harnesses, shoes, English-language climbing magazines, etc. The only downside is that everything seems to be covered in climbing chalk: a natural hazard of the environment perhaps. There is also info on a local company that does re-soles.
