The 2nd highest mountain in the world

This is the worlds most dangerous mountain and to prove so it holds the greatest death to summit ratio. The mountain lies on Pakistan's & China's border. Permits are expensive, $40,000 last I heard. You can pick one up at the capital, Islamabad. Plan on spending some time here fighting red tape.

Directions: From Skardu (capital Baltistan - Pakistan) theres a trek of about approx. 6-8 days to reach K-2 base camp. The trek is one of the hardest in the world, but so much thrilling beauty is here.
