Description:

Route goes up a prominent inside corner. Looking at the redder of the two photos posted on this site when I viewed it, the line goes straight up just to the right of the photo's center line. It begins going up at the leftt end of a large dark red wall, following obvious crack systems, gaining a stemming corner with a red wall on the left, a white wall on the right. At the top of this approx. 12 foot corner, pull a small roof and follow cracks straight up to obvious belay ledge. After climbing with Taiwanese climbers in 1986-87 at Long Dong a few times, I was told by them that my ascent was a FFA when I did the route with US climber Keith Brown in 1987. A better photo of the route is available here along with lots of information about long dong. On this photo, the route goes up from the "5" in "5 Claws".
