About Ko Samet Island:

As I found out in 1992, the island of Ko Samet just south of Bangkok has some good bouldering on the far southern tip of the island. The wall is about 50m+ in length and extends like a peninsula out into the ocean from a beach. The wall is about 20m high and can be bouldered on either side. Falls would be likely into the ocean and not good. The fingerholds have coral inside some but are not much to worry about. There are traverses and a few overhangs high up that have been done. A sheer 10 ft high boulder further south has also been climbed.
Nearest town or city: Bangkok
Directions: From Bangkok get to Pattaya, then take a boat to the island of Ko Samet to Aho Phai town. Stay in any beach front bungalow. From the Cambodia facing side, snorkel or walk south passing many coves and topless beauties from Diamond Beach. The rock peninsula is obvious as it sticks out from a beach straight into the ocean.
