About The Furnace:

Some of the finest climbing Crazy Horse has to offer on juggy white and orange rock. There is definitely some truth to the name, though, so try to avoid getting stuck on the Furnace in the afternoon heat in the hotter months, although the crag sees shade all day (and stays quite dry) during the rainy season (May - October).
Approach: From the parking lot, walk back up the dirt road and follow signs on your left. From the crag, there is a path that goes direct to the Furnace from the upper shade hut at the Crazy Horse area.
Approach Time: 5 minutes
