NINETY METRE CRAG
Situated 9.7 kilometres from the army post on the right-hand side, a superb crag with
lots of excellent routes. The rock is generally good as most of the routes have been
cleaned. There is a natural break in the cliff at around 90 metres and most of the
climbs go to this point, although there is the possibility of some good lines on the top
tier. The descent routes are along this ledge to the left and right, the left-hand one
generally being the shorter. The climbs are described from left to right. The crag is
north west facing and is in the shade for most of the day in winter and most of the
morning in summer. Some of the crack lines receive no sun. The face loses height
towards the left-hand side and provides some shorter routes. Most of these climbs
are started from a ledge just above the base of the crag.
