well protected with trad gear - small to medium nuts and hexex plus slings for good tree anchors.
Take a boat from Cat Ba main harbour (make sure they tow a rowing boat! and head out to the main harbour entrance/exit. Turn leftwards towards Monkey Island and very shortly a leaning sea stack comes into view. (400 metres approx after turning left! Look for an easy angled crag/cliff with a small sandy beach at low tide. Its also just to the right of steeper sea cliffs. Annafelactic is on the left side of the cliff and starts from an obvious pedestal. Climb the cracks and steeper wall above directly to a good ledge with tree belays.
Abseil to the starting pedestal on good tree anchors. Take care with the state of the sea (swell?) and tide
