About The Totem Pole:

2.5 hour walk(if your fast) from the campground at Fortescue Bay. Probably the best 5.12 in the Universe. I can't think of anything so good. A three star route in a three star location.
Approach: Follow the main trail to Cape Huay walk until the end. You'll see the top of the Totem pole from above. Then traverse left down the cliff top on a single track trail following cairns. Find a double bolt belay at about the same height of the summat (of the TP). Rap in and begin. If the surf is rough, good luck. you'll need to swing across to clip two carrot bolts for an anchor.
Approach Time: 2h : 30 min
