About Victoria Range North:

This is one of the remotest yet best climbing areas in Australia. Tucked away from all the tourists of the eastern side of the Grampians, this area is accessed by dirt road only. The rock is mostly bullet hard orange sandstone and overhangs alarmingly. Three star routes are scattered in the surrounding hills amoungst spiky bush, wild emus and kangaroos. It is a real aussie adevnture to go climbing in the Vic Ranges. The most popular crag is the Gallery. This famous steep heuco rock with numerous excellent sport routes has kept the Euros entertained for years. Other popular cliffs include Mt Fox (trad), Muline Crag (steep sport), Millenium Caves (steep sport) and the Fortress (multipitch trad).
