'New' route (Feb 03). This route is not in any of the guidebooks. It's the bolted line (requires bolt plates) about 5m to the left of The Trumpeter. Climb up the slab to the ledge and clip the first bolt. Then up past the second bolt and onto the face where the real climbing begins. Up the face using the shothole to exit, a very nice move! There are two ringbolts further up, and it is best to abseil off them to avoid wrecking your rope. Grade 17.
