About The Gap - Natural Bridge:

The Gap and The Natural Bridge are both climbing areas on the coast in Torndirrup National Park, south of Albany. The place is also a major tourist attraction of WA. There are over 90 routes here.

The Gap-Natural Bridge is part of the Adventure Climbing Zone, meaning that no bolts are allowed (there are a few old ones placed before the establishment of the zone). So a full rack is necessary. Almost all the climbs are single-pitch, however many of them are abseil access only (remember to bring some prussiks). However there are some areas where there is walk-in access and it is possible to set up topropes eg The Amphitheatre. There are climbs of all grades, though not that many in the very high range.

The Gap-Natural Bridge area is about 16km south of Albany. In Albany there is a full range of accomodation. Two guidebooks cover the area: South Coast ROCK and West Australian ROCK, both by Climbwest.
