Description: This is a little gem of a wall, tucked away just above Lyttleton. It offers about a dozen routes of mixed quality and protection, on mostly very good but unusual rock. Great for a quick afternoon expedition. It faces west, so gets sun all afternoon, even in winter.
Directions: Park at the top of Brenchley Rd. and walk up the farm track. At the end of the farm track, continue straight up the valley (the trail is a bit hard to see, but look for it between 2 large stone walls). At the junction with the Major Hornbrook and Chalmers tracks, hang a right. The cliff is now visible up and to the right. Continue up the track to where it enters some bush. Traverse right to the crag. From car, 10-15 minute walk.
PS: Don't forget to stop at the Wunder Bar in Lyttleton for a pint afterwards.
