About Sandbed Ghyll Crag (OS):

Not a large crag, but a good one for the Extreme climber. About 15 routes, VS to E6, of which at least ten are Extreme. Over 100 feet tall, northwest facing and generally in good condition, superb rock with good protection. This one is a definite on the tick list!
Nearest town or city: Keswick
Directions: OS 90 GR NY 322 215 Alt. 351m
4 miles ESE of Keswick. Take the B5322 going north from Legburthwaite for 2 miles to the farm on the right. Immediately on the right follow a ghyll up to a high level and the crag will be on your right.
