About Shepherds Crag (OS):
The most popular crag in the entire Lake District.A mere 30 seconds from the road, west facing, and at least 100 routes in all grades from Diff to E6. The easy routes are excellent 150 to 200 foot climbs, the hard ones tend to be short and technical. All the routes are quite polished, but most are still very good. Many of the hardest routes are top-roped, and the locals discourage bolts, so please continue this tradition. |
