About Easby Moor Area (OS):

There is plenty of enjoyable climbing around here to please the V DIFF to VS climber on several outcrops, some natural, and some quarried. Nearly all routes are short, around 20 feet, but are worth a days fun scrambling and soloing. About 70 routes in total, mostly southwest facing and pleasant on all but the coldest sunny winter afternoons, as they are protected from the cold northeast winds. Well worth a visit, and a good area to bring a beginner to.
