A classic for its grade. Still a serious lead 25 years after the first ascent. Climb the left hand side of the arete to the obvious horizontal, then swing up and right to a no-hands rest on small ledges. Don't think too long and make a looooong reach for a distant horizontal break. The alternative start is to layback the arete on the right, slightly harder, but less committing.
