About Cratcliffe Tor (OS):

This is a small crag with some classic routes, but is disappointing as a whole. The grit is good, but tends to moss up in the winter, and in the summer, gets very hot. Not a lot here for the beginner, about 50 routes, 20-50 feet long. |

| Directions: | OS 119 SK 228 623 Alt. 220m Five miles south of Bakewell. Take the A6 south for two miles, then turn right on the B5056 and follow this road for 2.3 miles. The crag wil be seen on the right, drive on for about 400 yards and park. Follow a footpath leading off into the woods, then go right towards the crag, not going near the house as this is trespassing and is enforced. |
