Description:

On of the great classics of the Peak District. First climbed in 1949 by Joe Brown, after many attempts by other good climbers of his time. Climb the steep, slanting crack on the outside face of the Pinnacle to a break, and hand-traverse rightwards to a nice belay on the nose of the Pinnacle. The second pitch steps right and then up to a short crack, then left on to the nose. The easier angled, but exposed rib leads to the summit. *****A 5-STAR CLASSIC*****
