About Tissington Spires (OS):
A very good group of crags with about 70 routes in total. Most are VS and upwards, lots of good E1s and up. West facing, with the best routes at the south end of the crag. Definately worth a visit. |

Directions: | OS 119 GR SK 146 521 Alt. 157m 4 miles NNW of Ashbourne. Take the A515 north from Ashbourne and after half a mile turn left down the small road to Thorpe and follow the road left towards Ilam. At the bottom of a valley 500 yards out of Thorpe, turn right to the Dovedale car park. A footpath leads all the way up the valley to Milldale. Tissington Spires will be the first crag on the RIGHT side of the path, about two miles up the trail. |
