About Wildcat Crags (OS):

There are some nice routes on this large limestone crag, but the quality is poor compared to High Tor. 120 feet tall with plenty of VS to HVS routes. Only 50 of the over 200 routes are Extremes. The rock can be loose in places. The crag is long and rambling and not often very crowded. |

| Directions: | OS 119 GR SK 297 575 Alt. 132m Just south of Matlock Bath. Park in one of the car parks at Matlock Bath, and from the Pavilion a footpath runs down along the river to a bridge in about 300 yards. Cross this and head left or right to the crags. |
