About Wimberry Rocks (OS):

Probably the best outcrop in the Chew Valley-Dovestones Reservoir area. North facing, with about 60 routes in all grades, 30 to 70 feet tall, on very good, firm gritstone. The best routes are the hard ones, but this should not deter the V Diff leader who can also enjoy this crag. Best on a nice summer day.
Nearest town or city: Oldham
Directions: OS 110 GR SE 016 024 Alt. 443m
5.5 miles ESE of Oldham. From Greenfield on the A625 turn right just past the George and Dragon Hotel to a car park at the end of the reservoir, and a mountain rescue post. A path leads off left, then after a few hundred yards, head straight up the hill to the rocks at the top. About a 20 minute walk from the parking area.
