About Guisecliffe(OS):

This crag is often considered an overgrown cliff, but with some exploring and cleaning, some nice lines can be found. Over 100 routes, covering all of the grades. Northeast facing and up to 100 feet tall. Do bring your bug spray in the spring and summer however, the bugs can get vicious.
Nearest town or city: Harrogate
Directions: OS99--GR166/633 Ten miles northwest of Harrogate. Take the B6165 and turn left at Glasshouses, just before Pateley Bridge. Follow the small road down the hill over the river, bear right, then keep going left and up the steep, twisting hill. The crag will be seen on the left. A footpath leads along the top to the "better" parts of the crag.
