About Hawkswick Crag(OS):

The BMC has established the following restrictions to this crag:

(1)No large parties.

(2)No dogs allowed.

(3)Climbing allowed on Sundays only during the months of November, December and January.

Other than these restrictions, this is an excellent, long rambling crag, reaching up to 60 feet tall in most parts. There are over 100 routes here in the lower grades, DIFF to HVS, and about 15 Extremes up to E4. The climbing is mostly V DIFF to VS, and the top is short of good belays. Faces southwest over a beautiful valley, a good place to ramble around all day on easier routes.
