About 05- Massif du Jura and Bugey:

Winter landscape : mist over a lake in a limestone "Reculée", with snow on the background plateaus. Chambly Photograph by Thomas Ribière.

The Jura is a limestone massif in eastern France, on the Swiss border, over the Geneva Lake. It is very roughly located northeast of Lyon and southeast of Dijon.
The Bugey is the south extremity of this long but narrow massif, and is bordered E, S and W by the Rhone River.
