Bolts. No gear necessary. Can partly be protected by gear, if you don't like bolts. 12 quickdraws.
200m meters of climbing on the steep wall underneath the summit of Le Brévent. Easy approach by taking the cablecar to the very top and hiking down to the base. From the main road a small trail marked by cairns leads to the base (from the second switchback). Pitch 1: 6a (5.10a) face climbing. Pitch 2: 5b (5.8) face climbing, up and slightly right. Pitch 3: 5c (5.9) face climbing. A wonderful pitch, exposed on the sheer face, steep, but with good holds. Pitch 4: Easier face climbing leads to a beautiful 6a (5.10a) dihedral (lay back / stemming) part. Pitch 5: Easy 4a (5.easy) traverse. Pitch 6: Another wonderful dihedral, with cracks from off-width to finger.
Walk back to the station (5min).

On such a wonderful wall! With excellent view on Mont Blanc, Midi etc. on the other side of the valley. Some single pitch climbs near the station make the trip up here worth it (since the ticket is not that cheap).
